Alright so this weekend I was frantic running around my apartment trying to prepare for my taxes…when my blackberry buzzed off of the hook thanks in part to R&B singer Cassie’s new do. She reported via her twitter page:

• Sometimes in life, you need a change.

• Something deeper than what you thought you were capable of.

• Something that displays the “I don’t give a fuck” attitude that was always present, but never showcased.

• …& something that will shock your mother, but make her call you a ROCK STAR….

• They ask why?? Lol… B/C I WOKE UP AND FELT LIKE IT!!! YEEEAHHH!!! LOL Have a great weekend!xx

But really are we shocked? Seeing as though that this look has already been done before. Especially by those who can actually pull off this specific look. Hence…J*Davey, French stylist/photographer Kristina Girsors, and many other non conforming trendsetting individuals. I on the other hand maintain a buzzed hair cut…simply because I am lazy! I’ll put it out there…ha! But I can’t help but to think that Cassie’s drastic turn of follicle events have arrived do to sheer boredom. Or perhaps much needed attention? Whatever the case is…who ever her barber might have been…or even if she did it herself – this look should have been much better than what these images show. I’m sorry, but I don’t think that this look fits Cassie! Straight up! I honestly think that this was an attempt of trying to stand out just a little bit “TOO HARD” .  What do you ladies think? Are we feeling it…or should she try..try..again?
