Rachel Roy For Macys

If you haven’t heard the news by now….then let me spring some on you for a hot second. Rachel Roy with the help from Jones Apparel Group Inc are set to spark things up this fall. Roy’s contemporary line for Macy’s department stores – appropriately called Rachel-Rachel Roy will be exclusively sold at Macy’s. According to WWD our girl Rachel will feature a collection steaming from apparel, shoes, handbags, & jewelry and is slated to launch this August throughout 85 Macy’s locations nationwide. The apparel collection will retail anywhere between $59 up to $299, which includes sportswear pieces. The Rachel-Rachel Roy accessories collection, all retail under $250. This is great…thank goodness Roy hasn’t taken the Target route on things! I am somewhat stoked as to see what Roy has to offer the masses. Let’s hope that her clothes don’t hit Macy’s fitting room floors, and clearance racks like Baby Phat is so good for doing. More views of the Rachel-Rachel Roy collection after the jump!

Candy Corn…(cute name)…lol! Yes, I used to see TONS upon TONS of Baby Phat garbs thrown on the floors of Macy’s fitting room floors. If it wasn’t the fitting room…it was twisted and tangled on clearance racks. But I love Rachel Roy…so let’s keep our fingers, toes, and booty cheeks crossed that she does well!
