Okie Dokie, for those who do follow me on Twitter already know that I have a fascination with Kanye West’s girlfriend Amber Rose! I think its because she definitely has that style that I totally adore….not to mention she pretty much rocks the same hair do as I. Yes…she gets the ultimate brownie points for getting things jumping on a fashionable note. Did anyone peep the booty crack in the shot above? I swear, I am such a dork when it comes to nude flicks! Anyway, Kanye West gave us the inside scoop for his latest campaign for his upcoming sneaker collection with Louis Vuitton shot by Steve Shaw. And with Kanye on the hot track of fashion success as of late with his Nike Air Yeezy sneaker which sold out within a weekend span, West has really been on patrol trying to get his fashion portfolio up to par. And while some, (including myself) wont be first on line to slam $840 on a pair of Kanye West x Louis Vuitton sneakers – I’ll be the first to say that I will admire the collection from afar. But only one can wonder if Kanye will have as much success with his collaboration with Louis Vuitton as he did with Nike. I am sorry but Kanye must have lost his mind on these! I mean the concept is pretty lame …major FAIL! And your absolutely right about the recession thing! No one really has a sheer concept of the economic state, and therefor we can’t really get mad at financially stable individuals who do have the money to spend on these. But for the general public who is of the working class who roll with the time need to get a grip and stop spending above their means.
I REALLY LIKE THESE! HYPEBEAST HAS BEEN PUMPING THESE HARDCORE SINCE LAST YEAR!!! I DONT KNOW IF THEY WILL SELL OUT BUT I AM SURE THAT FOLKS WILL ROCK EM BECAUSE KANYES NAME IS BEHIND IT ALL!
The Air Yeezy’s were one thing. If someone paid $300 for those shoes that’s crazy, but acceptable. If i see people walking around in these $800 plus shoes I think i’ll slap someone. If they sell out it’ll be because of HYPE and HYPE alone.
Kanye is definitely trippin on these. but i have a feeling that these are going to fly in june!
I can’t believe people are willing to spend $300 for a pair of Nike’s. That being said it scares me that people are willing to pay close to a grand for some Louis Vuitton shoes that are probably being made in the same plant in China as LA Gear. These sneakers are so over the top they might as well have a douche tracking device built into them.
LMAO@cutdrop – you are a trip! I totally feel you! But I am just curious as to how many folks are going to hit the pavement with this on? And I wonder if folks will camp out just to cop these…only time will tell.
