Alright, so if you have been following me on Twitter you would know for the past 48 hours I have been literally in Rachel Roy land. Not only is she one of my favorite designers, but I totally will admit that I got bashful upon meeting her. It was to the point where I got butterflies…ha! But hey, its kind of hard to play it cool when such a beautiful woman & wonderful designer steps into the room. I along with a great group of bloggers were invited to preview the Rachel – Rachel Roy collection, which is slated to hit 85 Macy’s department stores come this August. The collection is very captivating to the eye on a serious note. Touching base with this seasons trends, Rachel along with her design team has tapped into all aspects of what real fashion-forward women want and need within their closet space. I found myself staring at dresses that must be in my closet…like right now. Not to mention and abundance of footwear, handbags, and accessories. There was no miss within the entire collection. Initially, when hearing about the Rachel Roy diffusion line my excitement was seriously brewing….then to actually see wearable & yet very functional pieces made my experience even better. Alright…so your probably curious as to know what the price points are…right? Well the collection will retail between $59 up to $299.

The collection cultivates itself around faux leather jackets, faux fur vest which are extremely plush and far from cheap looking. Chunky cardigans await your beckoning call…while the denim sets the scene. The jewelry collection is definitely eye-catching in every way…tastefully crafted even for the simple woman with a modest aesthetic.
