Talk about kill joy….
You and I both know, that if we had the major bucks to throw down on a pair or two of Louis Vuitton “spicy” sandals…we’d probably throw ourselves at the glass doors of Louis Vuitton’s 57th street location before opening hours. I will tell you that high-heel shoes are not my best look…for the simple fact being, is that I have barely no practice in running around in a pair. I guess sneakers & flats have been more of my staple over the years. But I will attempt to rock high-heeled shoes with a tight stitiched smile….if they came in the form of this season “Spicy” madness. Now I am not one to really roll hardcore with all of the trends that are featured…or spoken about…but there is something about these shoes that has put a hex on my train of thought. Could it be from staring at all of those busy-body feathers, animal print, and exotic fabrications for such a long period of time? Could it be that we’ve already seen Beyoncé, Ciara, Victoria Beckham, Chloë Sevigny donning a pair over the past couple of months? Or is it just that Marc Jacobs is a pure genius? An artist for all things aesthetically appealing. Whatever it is….many women are looking for the alternative spin-off to the ongoing “spicy” regime. I’ve searched high and low…and have seen what could be close enough to the real thing…but not really! Thus, leaving us to be more patient until someone actually attempts this look without ending up in court.
