Is it me….or has the spring time really made a U-turn? Between the late April showers taking over the month of may. To watching spring trend reports manifesting from plush spring time hues….deep into the abyss of black colorways…I guess that we have to bob & weave our way through the nearest H&M locations. Say what you want about H&M….but I’ve noticed that every time I throw my guard up – opting to stick to my local thriftshop shopping habits…I pause only to take a loser look at what H&M has to offer. And yes….a few pieces from the “Divided Exclusive” collection has indeed caught my attention. But wait….before I break fly and say that I am going to cop a piece or two…perhaps I need to make my rounds throughout the fitting room before I make any last moment decisions…ha! tee i am so tired of seeing these ripped front jeans for sale!!!! when in all actuality women should be buying their jeans straight o ut of a goodwill shop and ripping them themselves. hence the term DIY! and this over the top puffy shoulder dresses, jackets, and things need to stop. i am really getting sick of what i am seeing as of late.
First I wanted to tell you Tee, that I absolutely love your site and the new layout! I come up here everyday just to see what the post will look like. I like some of the H&M collection but my dress code for work is all black so I doubt I will give any of the pieces a second glance…I gotta have color and lots of it. So I will be sticking to my usual spring/summer look.
@ Ree – AWWWW THANKS BOO (sending hugs through the computer)…I just want to give you gals a nice little visual experience of what goes through my head on the daily! Where do you work where you have to wear all black all day? With the summer coming, that is going to be too much heat for one woman to handle. I definitely feel you though with the color…I NEED COLOR! For so reason, all black can be a drag…UNLESS it’s a dress or something! I definitely love black dresses…it helps hide my tummy! Which reminds me…I need to hit the gym…like ASAP!
well as far as i know this is the Divided Exclusiv Fall Collection, so it wont be out till the end of August…

@ Serapare….you a so right it’s PERFECT for the fall! I believe I had seen the summer…(I think but I may have to double check). I am still kind of stuck on what to wear for the summer. I think its going to be another American Apparel / Vintage T-shirt summer for me…OH and with the sandals..LMAO! I need my WOW factor back! I am such a little tom boy…it’s not even funny!
Almost all of mi abuelitas cloths are black, it’s been her fav. color ever since i can remember, she is like Christian-Goth, Religious and Morbid. she tells me when she dies, to make sure that they don’t put her in a pink moo moo, and Johnny Cash has been her fav. man next to Chuck Norris, ever since she saw “Walk The Line” jajaja! I love mi abuelita! she takes me shopping and always picks out the best little black dress, she tells me “if i had a body like you i would wear that” and has a great eye for what looks good on a young woman, Sometimes i forget she is 68.
