Acid Wash

Click..clack…Ka-Boom – The 80′s has definitely stepped back into the room! For the past (lets say) four years – we’ve ALL seen an increase on retro trends resurfacing on overdrive. So much so that I’ve often taken note on why would anyone ever go to the extreme to pay astronomical amounts of money on such a trend. As a matter of fact, I remember the days when people would actually make fun of anyone rocking acid-washed garbs. Funny how a few celebrities can turn heads & train the thoughts of fashion junkies….right? Exactly! Acid Wash is everywhere! It’s on T-shirts, shorts, jeans, & even handbags. So far Topshop has fully stocked their shelves with a few basic acid-washed pieces. Net-A-Porter.com already has a pair of Kova & T Acid Wash Jeans on sale that you may want to give a looky-look. And Forever 21 never fails to miss a beat when it comes to trends. One retailer that seems to reign supreme in the acid-wash department has to be American Apparel. Now you ladies already know that I am addicted to Tie Dye, but I am still pretty stumped on the whole acid wash trend – and still wonder how I would look in it. My question to you ladies on this “Hump Day” is – would you rock acid-washed apparel? It’s just one of those questions that need some answers. Check out some of my acid-washed “laundry list” after the jump!

Tee’s A.D.D. Thought Process: Acid wash does have a way of making folks look kind of dingy & frumpy. Now what about those (like myself) who have some extra plush body parts? Would I look like a stuffed potato? Or stylish? Only time will tell…but I am going to keep you ladies posted on my upcoming Acid-Washed endeavors.

Damn I cant believe that girls are really wearing these things again. I am so over the whole 80s & 90s styles. Its like everyone feels the need to turn back the hands of time and its getting pretty boring already.
