Sorry ladies for the sporadic posts….I’ve been so busy as of late with upcoming life changing plans that your girl can’t even think straight. But when I am thinking straight, I am usually browsing around on my favorite reads. So my favorite blogger on planet earth Bryan Boy, featured an interesting post in regards to Tom Binns’ latest novelty piece, which was quickly yanked off of Colette. And it came in the form of what looked to be a Chanel J12 watch. Only having the Chanel insignia scribbled out and having “Tom Binns!” printed above…only leaving me scratching my head! Wondering…why in the world would such a super creative designer such as Tom Binns even take it there? Bad enough…luxury brands are battling counterfeiters & trademark infringing fiends on a mission to make a quick buck on the regular – the question of “WHY?” constantly sets off in my head. Shoot…I know that the recession has everyone tweaking a bit on the creative forefront…but come on! Now as you may already know….I am in love with Chanel everythings! And I totally adore my sweet Unkie Karl…but I am kind of curious as to know what he thought of Binns’ latest faux pas. I wonder if Binns will have to cough up damages….then again who cares…right? But if you were Karl Lagerfeld….what would you do?
