Trend News #007 | Amber Rose Inks A Deal With Ford Models
Yeah…yeah…yeah! I know what some of you ladies are about to say. It goes a little something like this; (sucking of the teeth) “You know she got that deal ‘cause of Kanye!” – then again you could care less. But let it be known…I love me some Amber Rose! Not only does she bring a little more to the table (visually). But her sense of style is unique in it’s own way. Granted, the gossip blogs have thrown the Philly native under the bus as of late. But come on…can we entirely be mad at her? Shoot, thanks to Mr. West – this girl got to see half of the world in a span of months. More that what we can say about the rest of the population. I mean come on really…how many of us can say that we had Madonna grab our booties? Not too many! According to Grazia Daily, Fashion insider Derek Blasberg put the news on blast via Twitter stating: “foxy, bald headed girl’ has just signed a giant contract with Ford Models”. Alright….so if this is true, I wonder where we will be seeing Amber. Hmmm…only time will tell. I wonder if she’ll be propped up next to Chanel Iman? Totally doubt it…but until then, what are your thoughts on Amber Rose signing to Ford Models?
i love amber rose. but to be honest i am thinking that her role at ford will be short lived.
Ok, call me a hater! But only because I stan for K. West. I do believe that she is visually appealing, esp. since she is bald. But when it come to style, Mr. West is doing it! I think too much credit is given to her on the style side, because no doubt, she looks good in what she wears. I just wish she had a better rep for being his gf! And you never know, this could have been both of their plans: him to be in the spotlight even more and her to get a reputable modeling contract. But Tee, what kind of spreads do you think she would do at Ford? I read she may have one already with Elle.

i like amber rose and all but lets be real. in a world where any size over a 4 is unacceptable, is the fashion world really ready for someone like her. theres no denying her beauty, but we aren’t about to see all that ass on a runway. i don’t care how much people like her…its one thing to be in the audience with ur rock star boyfriend at a fashion show and totally another for you to be on that runway.

@ saywhat?! – I definitely feel you! I am sure Kanye helped groom Amber Rose…lol no doubt! But I have NO CLUE what spreads she might have a chance on. She definitely has one of those BUXOM bodys. So how can she fit a sample size? She has hips for DAYS! Perhaps she will be doing head shots…lol

Come on people lets not get carried away…..Amber was a jumpoff and nothing but a jumpoff, although a smart jumpoff. She had the good sense to use her 2 minutes of fame to get her paper on, I can respect that. babygirl is cute, cant front but she is no way close to be wife material, at least in my book.
