News…is news no matter if it’s a day late! And while everyone pretty much broke their necks yesterday on latest headline in regards to Jimmy Choo teaming up with H&M, I really didn’t blink an eye lash when the news hit my blackberry. I don’t know what it is as of late, but I haven’t been really impressed by anything – fashion wise! I totally kid you not! I am not sure if my “Wow Factor” has been put on the back burner, simply because my focus is on ten billion other things. Or perhaps the recession has many of us (including myself) really focusing on the basics. Either way….I am not sure what to think about the collaboration with the Swedish power house. Come this November 14th (coincidentally my birthday), NYC folk can look forward to the “Rush” of die hard H&M fans to flock to their nearest location, in the hopes of copping what may forecasters predict will be the next sold-out collaborative collection. The British based Jimmy Choo will be launching a collection for both men and women, in around 200 H&M location worldwide, which will include of course shoes, handbags, and a capsule evening wear line. According to reports there will be 12 shoe models for women, which will be available in two colorways – along with four models for men. Prices for the shoes will go for around $55 – $138, while the handbags will go for around $276….(blank stare). I don’t know about you….but I can’t get past the $276 price mark for a H&M handbag – no matter who collaborated with the company. It’s unrealistic in my book – especially when it comes from H&M! Perhaps, we should stay tuned for upcoming previews before we all jump the gun. Ladies, what do you think about the idea of Jimmy Choo collaborating with H&M? Do we love it?
