It’s evident that the underground streetwear brands are making their way into the mainstream sector. The ladies of DimePieces headed to NYC to shoot their A/w 2009 lookbook which features R&B singer Cassie. This seasons collection is appropriately titled Electro Love which so happens to be the title of Cassie’s upcoming album. What do you ladies think about some of the looks….are we loving it? I think that cassie looks pretty decent but i’ll still wait for the full images to make my final decision.
I love it. I think cassie would have alot more spunk to her appearance if she styles her hair as shown above or similar on a common basis. These designs appear refreshingly couture and if I could afford these items, I would definitely rock this Dime Piece!

i think before women’s streetwear brands decide to go ‘mainstream’ or ‘hollywood’ they should get back to being original. nothing wrong with a celebrity endorsement but it’s getting a bit ridic…
If she stayed a model, this would have been great! But now that an album is tied to it, then uggh gimmicks!
