Ok now you definitely know that the economy and the lack luster retail sales has fashion’s elite scrambling around town to lure back in fading fashion enthusiast. But at what cost? As you already know, next months kicks in full swing with New York Fashion Weeks festivities, parties, and everything in between. But what has everyone buzzing around town has to the Fashion’s Night Out – which will feature more than 700 designers, brands, & retailers slated to invade NYC all on September 10th. But where I am stumped and confused is why is Anna Wintour making her way to Queens. According to THE CUT, Wintour will be joined along side Michael Kors – who will both be signing Fashion’s Night Out T-shirts at the Macy’s in Queen Center for the first 50 customers. I’m quite sure over-the-top Wintour junkies will hop the train just to see what she looks like out of the confines of Manhattan. Then again, I used to live by Queen Center….and I know for a fact that the majority of the residents could care less, and want to know what’s on sale at the local Target. I am quite curious as to know what the turn-out will be……or if Wintour is actually going to show up. Better yet, I wouldn’t be shocked if she had spur of the moment volunteers hand out T-shirts while she waits in her limo. Ladies are we impressed and will you be heading out during Fashion’s Night Out come September?
