Trend News #021| Tyra Ditches The Weave On September 8th
It’s all about ratings in the realm of television. And as far as Tyra Banks is concerned, she’ll do just about every and anything to have you tune in to her yawn-worthy talk show. I’m still wondering how she even won awards for this show. I’m just saying……(super blank stare). Anyways, the topic of “hair” has been on pretty much everyone’s brain as of late….including Chris Rock, who already has my $12 for his latest documentary “Good Hair” slated to come out this October. And Banks will be following suit in showing off her natural locks…..supposedly! Banks took to twitter this week stating:
Guess What! I’m rockin’ my REAL hair on my talk show September 8th. No fake hair at all! Will be the hair coming out of my scalp! 4 all 2 C! – Tyra Banks’ Twitter
To be quite honest, I really feel that I’m about to get conned into boosting her Nielsen Ratings come September 8th. For goodness sakes….I stopped watching Tyra once she mentioned how she liked seeing “baby hair” on grown women. Will you ladies being tuning in?

Tyra cracks me up, but I can’t stand to watch her show. I think shes entirely too judgmental about things she hasn’t experienced and is unwilling to try. I think as far as the weave thing goes, I will NOT be tuning in to hear her give a self involved speech about how black women don’t love themselves by wearing weave and blah blah blah.
