GEEZ…I know some folks have been making a big stink when it comes to Rihanna’s ever evolving sense of style. In fact, in the last month or so….many of the headline topics focused on her vamp-styled nails….which unbelievably grew on me. It all began, when she was spotted a few weeks ago rocking shocking apple-red spike nails. Which I thought in her case, where pretty hot. I personally wouldn’t know how to go around rocking ultra-long acrylic nails at this point in my life. Especially with all of the computer work that I do…I’d drive myself totally nuts. But all I do know is that, I’ve stopped getting my nails done since 2005! I was tired of trucking to my favorite nail salon in Brooklyn after working a 8 hour shift. Along with the accidental breaks, and the over the top frantic worrying that I would rip my natural nails off. The stress was too much to deal with. And it’s crazy because acrylic has always been favorite solution. Years ago, my nail technician Fanny, used to mention her UV Gel option. Naturally, my brain totally ignores what’s in the “new”…and follows old patterns that I’ve personally grown accustomed to. Since then, I’ve been hearing tons buzz about UV gel – yet never attempted to try it out. And lately a lot of women have been using the technique…thus leaving them with super neat, lightweight, and natural looking nails. So add that theory of UV GEL overlay…and spiked tips…and what do you get? Dope nails created by Karolina. And can make the most unattractive of nails look like a million bucks after a session with her. I scrolled through her entire blog…because my eyes lit up off of the numerous designs done with UV GEL & Acrylic. She’s also created dope looks with the spike nail trend which is serious catching on right now…and I think you guys should really check out the options available, before throwing up the red flag on what Rihanna has been working with at the prior moment.
