I swear….this comes as such depressing news! Granted I have yet to actually purchase a Hermès bag….but to sit back and acknowledge the mere fact that Hermes had Jean Paul Gaultier as their creative director for the past six years – came as breath of fresh air for the luxury brand. After taking over the ranks after Martin Margiela in 2003, Gaultier has taken Hermès’ ready-to-wear & haute couture collections to every end of the map. According to FWD, JPG will be resigning from the company in October after showing his final collection. The question now is….who will now follow in the foot steps of Gaultier after his final curtain call come this fall?

My “Sneak Files” posts have been seriously lax….then again it could be the summers heat and procrastination that has my brain in a fog. Ummm…seeing as though Karl Lagerfeld has a stern eye for all things fashionably chic – I don’t recall to ever seeing him sport anything other than black & white. No…no…seriously, I’m so not kidding. I wonder what made him decide to break out the nautical theme ensemble this past weekend, as he was spotted strolling the streets of Saint Tropez. Come on….our favorite granduncle of fashion even broke out the red gloves just to give us a dose of that trademark Lagerfeld sporty flavor. Ok, see these are the reasons why I can’t walk away from the entire celebrity scene. We love following up on who’s who….in the game…right? Exactly! And well right now Amber Rose is my favorite celebrity (of some sort) to look at on average. I (personally) think that she’s got a 1-up on Rihanna…(waiting to hear the ‘oh hell no’s any moment). And the more she runs around town with Kanye West, is the more that I can appreciate their relationship.
