As you know today was the first official day of New York Fashion week. Everyone in the industry has been in a chaotic swirl for the week long events. BCBG was one of the first collections up on the chopping block, and I must say that I am very impressed by next Spring’s collection. Look forward to seeing Grecian draped mini dresses. Abstract cut detailing is setting the stage for next spring. And yes colorful print is something to keep note of. Check out some of the looks that hit the runway earlier today after the jump.

Is it me or am I the only one out of the loop at times? My girls from Highsnobette, did put me on a while back about Fleet Ilya and I still stat there baffled by the name. It sounded more like the name of a band…or something deeper than a designer name. Either way, the name will bring up automatic stares and glares. Ok, on my vacation I must say that I took some time to pamper myself. I’ve got to be honest, spending hours on the internet – along with working meticulously with the keyboard, automatically gives way to some rancid looking nails (in my case). Between nail biting, hang nails, and everything that takes a toll on my fingers…..I’ve taken the intuitive on getting my nails UV gelled up. And let me say…I am finally happy.
