Shop Files #012 | Timberland x Colette Premium Boots For Women

Funny enough, it was on Monday where I ran around town looking for a new pair of Timberland boots. I don’t know what it is about the brand, but it seems to be the necessary item to have in your closet while living in the city. Everyone including children are spotted around town in a fresh crisp pair of nubuck construction-styled boots. And if there was one thing that personally bothered me more than ever, was to see a pair of Timberland boots water drenched, scuffed and distressed at the point of no return. So it’s definitely a surprise to see that Colette teamed up with Timberland to create what could have been more of an appropriate style of boot. I mean this is just my opinion. I’m not sure of what irks me more….the $354 dollar price point or the “broken in” toe featured on these exclusives. Maybe it’s just me being anal….or perhaps someone else other than me feels mutually the same way. Available now exclusively via Colette.fr

LMAO @ ATHEGREAT – girl you always manage to crack me up! I definitely feel you! Can you see now why I took a long break? I can’t front I really got tired of seeing items such as this being up for grabs and classified as an “exclusive/limited edition” piece.

Ok so I gave these a look over and all I have to say is no bueno.. First I ain’t feeling the worn in look like @ATheGrreat said why would i spend that much when i could break em in myself. I always like my footwear krispy i never been into the distressed look. Also I NEVER been a fan of baby blue, but I guess to each his own. I would never wear em though.

Why in the hell would I buy a pair of $354 faux “worn in” timbs, when I can go to the hood and pay $65-80 for a pair and wear them out my damn self? I like Colette and Timberland but this is one dumbest collabo ever!
