Happy Holidays everyone! I’ve decided to work through the holiday season….well because I have a lot of catching up to do! So if you so happen to be taking a break from your holiday festivities to scan through my series of 2009 Trend Flashbacks – thank you very much – xo! Alrighty so let’s kick into over drive to scan back at some of 2009’s most interesting Trend Flashbacks! And Lady Gaga is at the top of the list for many. Gaga (whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta – age 23) hit the scene on a serious note, selling over 20 million digital singles and over four million in album sales. That’s a lot to hold under one couture studded belt. Aside from belting out high adrenaline dance tunes such as Poke Face, Gaga has set the scene for some of today’s most interesting trends that still have some of us scratching our heads. Hence, the “no bottoms look” (which I’ll talk about a little later). While Gaga has been noted as one of the most controversial artists for 2009 due to her raunchy outfits & out of the box videos, there is no denying that there is something about Gaga that makes us want to dance around and loose our senses. But for the most part, I can’t help but to sit down and wonder what she’ll wear next. I’m quite sure Lady Gaga will pump up the volume come 2010 in the apparel department.
