Designer Alexander McQueen {1969-2010} – (Trend News #030)
I’m still in totally shock, right now! When I first got the news on the death of Alexander McQueen, I instantly scanned the web just to make sure that the news was indeed true. And there it was, site after site reporting the same devastating news across the globe. Famed fashion designer Lee Alexander McQueen found dead in his London home on Thursday. McQueen passed away at the young age of 40. McQueen is best known for his controversial designs, which some consider to be supersonic. McQueen’s passing came only nine days after this designer revealed via Twitter that his mother had passed away (Feb 2.). McQueen’s theory on fashion showed and proved many times over.
