Madonna Set To Create A Clothing Line With Macys – (Trend News #031)
Yeah, as though the fashion world needs yet another celebrity labeled apparel line! We can surely be happy to know that Madonna is the next celebrity said to be in talks with Macys to create her own clothing line. According to WWD, the pop icon is said to be in the works to launch a collection of contemporary womens clothing which will be exclusively sold at Macy’s. The line would feature merchandise such as apparel, accessories, intimates, & footwear. Madonna’s line has yet to be officially named, but WWD has reported that product line alias’ such as Material Girl (for the clothing line), Truth or Dare (for the lingerie collection) have already been noted for consideration. It’s no secret that Madonna is definitely a force to be reckoned with but I (personally) feel that there has to be a line drawn. Seriously! I am really SICK & TIRED of seeing celebrity clothing lines! There is no real skill or talent required nowadays for having a clothing line. So ladies & gents…it’s about that time to cast your vote on today’s headline topic. Should Madonna show us her skills at the freehand stitch? Or stick to what she does best?

No. She already tried her hand with a collection in collaboration with H & M for them that was not that successful. Critique about the collection was that kind either. I think this might end like her acting/directing career where she continually tries to make it big but can because she is not talented enough but refuses to give up.
I think it would be better if some of these celebrities just financially backed good designers and help with getting them some good connections. Something along the line of Sienna Milla and her fashion designer sister who have a line together.
