It’s been a few days since I’ve been back on my blogging grind. It’s the holidays and well…I’ll admit that I’m really not feeling this holiday season. I think that one thing that we can all agree upon in regards to fashion is the fast paced seasonal push that we’re all forced to settle with. While winter has set to truly set in, everyone has forgotten about the first snow flake – and have already gone full swing into the Spring. I’m sure most of you who are avid fans of Alexa Chung have faithfully tuned into her show – “It’s On with Alexa Chung” for the past two seasons. But MTV has decided to pull the plug on her show. And some of us can’t understand why. Bad enough television is plagued with a series of back to back reality shows. We’re wondering if Viacom will cut the madness and get back to reality on hosting more interesting talk shows without the abominable stereotypical plotlines. Through it all, Alexa Chung has managed to give television viewers a look at her downtown vibe. Yeah, I know if you have been running around NYC in the past 72 hours – you’d know that it has been ba-ba-ba-BRICK! Chilled straight to the bones. But that doesn’t stop would-be trendsetters from showing major face, despite what Mother Nature has to offer. I so wish that I could push back the hands of time (to the month of June), where the temperature was just right. So yeah, then I woke up to realize that it is indeed December. If there is anything I hate more, is the winter! Not only do I NOT want to go out and go shopping.
