I don’t know about you..but I love me some Jeremy Scott! If I had it my way I would have pretty much every J.Scott collection down packed within my entire wardrobe. This fall we have some more goodies to look forward from our favorite & yet eccentric designer extraordinaire. This fall there will be four additions to the latest Jeremy Scott for Longchamp series. The collection will feature the an array of Sergent print handbags paired against Russian leather & cotton canvas. But the J.Scott x Longchamp collection just doesnt stop at Sergent print handbags, the collection will also feature a Colonel line that dons Longchamps trademark Le Pliage silhouette. I am definitely feeling the collection and pretty much every and anything that comes from Jeremy Scott. Check the rest of the views after the jump.

At this point I think everyone is tired of seeing Rihanna. But let’s get real for a moment, she is pretty much the only celebrity to marvel at right now. Her sense of style is fitting everyone’s fashion rolodex as of late, leaving us to wonder what everyone else is doing during this recession. Anyways, I am just curious as to know what everyone thinks of Rihanna’s ever evolving style lately….are we loving it?

I hope that you ladies had a great weekend. Your girl has been busy this past weekend (my mama is moving), so that is why there was no post on Friday. But let me just tell you….this spring has been really jinky! I mean there is nothing in sight as of late but clouds here in the city. I am talking about – it’s so bad, that you wake up pretty much everyday to dreary clouds in the sky. It’s like the April’s showers have skipped into the month of May and have decided to stay. Either way…there are some of us who don’t mind seeing clouds…only on clothing, shoes, & accessories! Stella McCartney really has tricks up her sleeve, resulting in patrons (like myself) smiling…and tapping our third eye all at the same time. I mean let’s face it….this recession has really put a damper on everything. So much so…people have been really questioning fashion all at this point. Can you believe it? Ok, let me stop acting like I don’t start questioning certain things…but there are times like these where I knew designers on a personal note! Case in point….Stella McCartney’s S/S could-print goodies, which stay on warehouse shelves at our online mecca we love to call Net-A-Porter. Now the collection is adorable, but I would love to put Stella McCartney on total blast for throwing a $495 price tag on just an “organic cotton” T-shirt. Let’s just hope that irregular versions of these T-shirts miraculously find themselves on racks of Fall sample sales to come. OMG…before anyone gives me the third degree – please note that I will surely stick by my love for all things Tie Dye. My obsession has lasted since I was a teenager….and now that I am one foot closer to the grave, I think that my obsession has worsen. Oh gosh..do you ladies remember when MIU MIU featured Tie-Dye on a few satchel pieces back in 2006? If so, then you already know that it was definitely a wrap for me! And with the summer almost here…my eyes have been heavily glued to a few goodies via American Apparel. And if you know me well…you would know that I am a “basics” type of  girl all the way through. And after seeing a pair of Tie-Dyed leggings in person via American Apparel I have been debating if I should bite the bullet on dropping $34 dollars just on a pair of leggings. Overall, the Tie-Dye look is back on a serious note! This season, celebrities & trendsetters have been on a hardcore mission donning Balmain’s Vintage Tie Dye Motorcycle Jeans priced at a whopping $2,464. Oh, and let’s not forget that J Brand has really stepped up to the plate  this spring thanks to their popular $217 Thrasher Pencil Leg Jean – which features a acid washed / tie dye like exterior. And just think that I am in heavy debate over a mere $34….right? Perhaps I need to clam down all the way through and make that American Apparel purchase…ha! Ok, so last summer the internet & street went crazy over the gladiator sandal. Which (believe it or not) is back on the scene on a more subtle note. Nothing too extravagant….with the exception of a few studded pieces here and there. I think that I will create another post later this week sometime trekking back on last seasons trend. But for the moment…let’s focus on what’s kicking up buzz-worthy talk for the spring & summer of 2009. If you have been keeping watch (like I have), you would know that this spring & summer follows suit like every season. Thus, leaving us on a eagle-like “woman- hunt” for the best selection of trendy sandals.  Ruffles & pleated front sandals & pumps have been marking strict territory lines throughout the city streets.  Lately, trend spotters are BEJEWELED by the shiny rhinestone / crystal combinations remixed into sleek simply strapped sandals.  So far, Old Navy (believe it or not) has really been tapping into a cool collection of summer footwear – simply PERFECT for us budget shoppers. And high end designers have been really capturing my attention with their collection of cool jelly sandals – which might need further investigation in person. I think that I’ve seen it all….well at least I did when it comes down to accessories. From human hair jackets, lego pendants, and hamburger telephones…I thought that accessories have covered every end of the spectrum. I mean…let’s be real – there are just some craft & very innovative people on this planet we love to call earth. And if I didn’t know any better…spending endless hours on the computer will take a toll on your brain. But there are some who have found sheer inspiration for all things pixelated…keyboard infused…and all things warped into a supreme must-have item for the summer. I hope that you ladies had a fabulous Mothers Day weekend. Over the weekend I got into some good “girlie talk” with my younger sister, whom might I add is just one of those stylish young ladies! And I am not just saying that because she is my sister. While she is away at school, prepping to come home for the summer – she had asked me about any recommendations for the summer. So naturally my brain starts cranking out ideas…..and well fashion is all about ideas & recycled trends…right? But there are some trends that fashionista’s are a adamant of taking a chance on. And that is transforming themselves into the summer-time Gypsy Queen. Where tye-dye blended threads set the scene. And before you break fly on the notion of every sporting “Tye-Dye”….understand that I am not telling you to warp back into the days where the Grateful Dead rocked out half of the population out of their seats. In fact, I am asking you to place your lovely eyes on romance at it’s fullest. The idea of anything “Gypsy-inspired” may automatically throw up the red flags for some….but understand that the trend itself showcases a romantic theme of flowing dresses, dreamy deep hues, & that subtle and yet dominate staple that will definitely make heads turn this summer.
