Designer Phillip Lim studied at California State University at long beach, and then went on to work for Katayone as a design assistant. After spending twenty-two seasons as a creative director and co-founder of Development 3.1 with his partner Wen Zhou – Lim cultivated a cult following of his luxurious and yet sophisticated designs.
