French designer Catherine Malandrino emerged on the American fashion scene in 1998. She’s managed to merge Parisian styling into classic American looks bringing fourth a series of powerful garments. Her collections are loved by many celebrities such as Halle Berry & Madonna.

Council of Fashion Designers of America, is a non for profit association which has over 350 leading figures in fashion and design. Diane von Fürstenberg (President of the CFDA) and Steven Kolb (Executive Director) stands fully committed to the advancement & preservation of the American fashion industry. The CFDA is well known for helping up & coming designers furnish their talent to the ever growing fashion scene.

The Parisian house was founded by the late Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel in 1909. Since then the bran has been long since been known as the epitome of luxury fashion. The house specializes in luxury items (which feature handbags, ready-to-wear, cosmetics, perfume, along with other novelty items). To date there are over 200 standing Chanel boutiques worldwide, and is currently being creative directed by Karl Lagerfeld.

Chloé was established in 1952 by founder Gaby Aghion. Since then the label has worked itself into the mainstream thanks to a huge list of many notable designers which would include Karl Lagerfeld & Stella McCartney. Hannah MacGibbon is currently the French luxury house’s new creative director. BTW…are you getting flashbacks of those highly popular Paddington bags?

Christian Louboutin has made a name of himself over the past few years, (thank you Sarah Jessica Parker).  Women literally go mad in hot pursuit to be seen in a pair. Louboutin has created a series of unique shoes intricately made that have captivated the masses. Need we remind you that you’d better have your AMEX on deck when making a purchase?

The Central Saint Martins graduate set off to make his name knowing in the fashion realm and he did accomplish just that. He’s already collaborated with Topshop & Opening Ceremony (just to name a few). His head turning designs have already been seen on celebrities such as Rihanna. L.A. based premium denim brand Citizens Of Humanity is the brainchild of former 7 For All Mankind designer Jerome Dahan. Knowing for their signature “H” logo’s stitched on the back pockets of each jean, this denim brand has been a long favorite of many celebrities such as Kate Moss, Lindsay Lohan, & Gwyneth Paltrow.

Rei’s aesthetic goes totally against the grain in the realm of fashion. Signature trademark of the Comme des Garçons brand often features deconstructed garments tricked out in black, white, or gray colorways.

Relatively a new brand to hit the scene, the L.A. based denim brand created by Emily Current and Meritt Elliott started customizing vintage jeans. Current/Elliott blew heavily onto the scene on 2009, with the help of celebrity fans such as Nicole Richie & Ciara sporting their stylist slouchy boyfriend jeans.
