Yeah, as though the fashion world needs yet another celebrity labeled apparel line! We can surely be happy to know that Madonna is the next celebrity said to be in talks with Macys to create her own clothing line. According to WWD, the pop icon is said to be in the works to launch a collection of contemporary womens clothing which will be exclusively sold at Macy’s. The line would feature merchandise such as apparel, accessories, intimates, & footwear. Madonna’s line has yet to be officially named, but WWD has reported that product line alias’ such as Material Girl (for the clothing line), Truth or Dare (for the lingerie collection) have already been noted for consideration. I’m still in totally shock, right now! When I first got the news on the death of Alexander McQueen, I instantly scanned the web just to make sure that the news was indeed true. And there it was, site after site reporting the same devastating news across the globe. Famed fashion designer Lee Alexander McQueen found dead in his London home on Thursday. McQueen passed away at the young age of 40. McQueen is best known for his controversial designs, which some consider to be supersonic. McQueen’s passing came only nine days after this designer revealed via Twitter that his mother had passed away (Feb 2.). McQueen’s theory on fashion showed and proved many times over.
